Microsoft Outlook takes a long time to send email

If Microsoft Outlook is taking a long time to send emails even if there is nothing queued in your Outbox, most probably the SRS file for your Outlook is corrupted.

Delete Outlook.srs file from C:\Users\”Username“\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Note: You will be able to see AppData folder only after enabling view Hidden files

And open your Outlook.

New Outlook.srs file will be created and you should be able to send emails without any delay.
